At Attyre ("we," "our," or "us"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and web services (collectively, the "Service").

By using Attyre, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the Service.

Website

Our website does not use advertising trackers, advertising cookies, or ad personalization. We do not sell or share any data collected through the website for advertising purposes. If we introduce analytics in the future, it will be limited to anonymized, aggregate usage statistics.

What We DO NOT Collect

Important Clarification

  • We do NOT use Face ID or any biometric authentication technology

  • We ONLY capture regular photos using your device camera

Attyre works exclusively with standard photographs that you take with your camera — pictures of your clothes and, if you choose to use the face card feature, regular photos of yourself. These are ordinary image files (like any photo on your phone), not biometric scans or Face ID data.

Information We Collect

1. Photos You Upload (NOT Face ID)

Standard camera photographs that you voluntarily take and upload:

  • Clothing photos — fit pics, mirror selfies, Instagram or OOTD posts, flat lays, closet shots, and single-item photos. We extract clothing items from these photos to build your wardrobe.
  • Face card photos (optional) — if you use the face card feature, regular photos of your face. These are used solely to generate style insights such as facial feature attributes, suited colors, and celebrity style twins. They are standard photographs, not biometric scans, and are never used to identify or authenticate you.

Extracted wardrobe data includes item titles, categories, colors, styles, occasions, and seasons, plus your outfit history and saved looks.

📸 We Use Photos, NOT Face ID

Attyre does NOT use Face ID or biometric authentication. We only analyze regular photographs taken with your camera. These are standard image files (JPEG/PNG) — the same as any photo in your camera roll. We process these photos using AI to extract clothing items and build outfit ideas. Your photos are encrypted and stored securely. We never share your photos with third parties.

To delete your photos and data: use Delete Account from the account menu in the app, or email hello@attyre.pro if you cannot access the app.

2. Style Preferences & Onboarding Answers

Information you provide while setting up your experience, including:

  • Your style choice and usual style
  • Age range and occupation (optional)
  • How you heard about Attyre
  • Your ratings of outfits and looks ("would you wear this?") — used to personalize recommendations

3. Usage Data

  • App usage patterns and frequency
  • Features accessed and outfits generated
  • Device information (device type, OS version)
  • IP address (for security and abuse prevention)

4. Location & Weather (Optional)

If you grant location permission, we use approximate location to tailor outfit recommendations to the weather. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time without losing access to the Service. We do not store precise location data.

5. Subscription & Purchase Information

In-app subscriptions are processed by the App Store (Apple) and our subscription management provider. We do not store your payment card details. We only receive confirmation of your subscription status to determine whether premium features are unlocked.

How We Use Your Photos

Your photographs are analyzed by AI exclusively for:

  • Extracting clothing items from your photos to build and organize your wardrobe
  • Generating outfit ideas and combinations from your own clothes
  • Providing personalized recommendations based on occasion, season, and weather
  • Generating style insights from optional face card photos
  • Improving the quality of our AI recommendations

🔒 Photo Protection Commitment

  • Photos are NEVER shared with third parties for advertising
  • Photos are stored securely on our servers with encryption
  • Only you have access to your photos through your authenticated account
  • Photos are retained as long as you maintain an active account
  • All photos are permanently deleted when you delete your account

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide AI-powered outfit generation and wardrobe management
  • Personalize recommendations based on your style and ratings
  • Tailor suggestions to the weather in your area (with your permission)
  • Improve our AI algorithms and Service quality
  • Communicate with you about your account and updates
  • Ensure security and prevent fraud or abuse
  • Comply with legal obligations

How Your Outfits Are Generated

Your clothing items are processed by our own image-processing pipeline running on our servers — item extraction, background removal, and categorization into attributes such as category, color, style, occasion, and season.

Alongside that image processing, we use large language models (LLMs) to generate parts of your experience: outfit combinations, written style insights, and personalized recommendations. These models are operated by enterprise AI providers who process the data on our behalf under written agreements.

Protections that apply

  • Your data is not used to train these models
  • Providers may retain submissions only transiently for safety and abuse monitoring, after which they are deleted. They do not keep a copy for their own purposes.
  • No provider may sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it onward
  • We never send your name, email address, or account identifiers alongside your photos
  • We do not sell your data, and we do not use your photos to train our own models without your separate, explicit opt-in

Your control

  • A photo is only ever captured and processed when you choose to add it to your wardrobe
  • You can stop future processing at any time by not uploading photos, and delete all stored photos via Delete Account

How We Protect Your Data

  • Encryption for all data transmission (HTTPS)
  • Secure cloud storage with industry-standard encryption
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • Limited access to personal data (need-to-know basis)
  • Automatic data anonymization for AI training
  • Secure, token-based device authentication

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correction — Update or correct inaccurate data
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your account and data

Delete Your Account and Data

You can delete your account directly in the app.

  1. Open Attyre and tap the account icon in the top-right corner of the home screen
  2. Choose Delete Account and confirm the request
  3. If you cannot access the app, email hello@attyre.pro and we will complete the deletion for you

Your account and associated data are deleted immediately from our systems (and in no case later than 30 days).

⚠️ Warning: Deletion is permanent.

You will lose all your photos, wardrobe items, outfit history, and saved looks. This cannot be undone.

Data Retention and Deletion

Photo Retention

  • Active accounts: photos retained as long as your account is active
  • Account deletion: all photos permanently deleted upon in-app or verified email request
  • AI provider handling: where a photo is processed by an AI provider, our agreements bar its use for model training and permit only transient retention for abuse monitoring before deletion. They do not keep a copy for their own purposes.
  • No biometric data: we don't store Face ID or any biometric information

Other Data Retention

  • Active account data: retained while your account is active
  • Deleted account data: removed upon deletion request
  • Anonymized analytics: may be retained indefinitely for improvement
  • Legal compliance: some data may be retained as required by law

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Cloud storage — encrypted storage of your photos (United States)
  • AI providers — outfit generation and style insights (United States)
  • App Store (Apple) — in-app purchases and subscription management
  • Subscription management provider — entitlement and subscription status

These services have their own privacy policies. We only share necessary data for service functionality, under written agreements that prohibit use of your data for training, advertising, or onward sale.

Children's Privacy

Attyre is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe an underage user has created an account, contact us at hello@attyre.pro.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this privacy policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For significant changes, we will notify you via in-app notification.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Does Attyre use Face ID?

No. Attyre does NOT use Face ID or any biometric authentication. We only use regular camera photos of your clothes and (optionally) yourself for style analysis. These are standard image files (JPEG/PNG), not biometric scans.

Q: Is my biometric data collected?

No. We never collect biometric data of any kind. We only analyze regular photographs that you take with your camera. No face scanning for authentication, no Face ID, no biometric authentication.

Q: How do I delete my photos and data?

Open Attyre, tap the account icon in the top-right corner of the home screen, and choose Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, email hello@attyre.pro from the device where you use the app with "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line.

Q: What happens to my photos after deletion?

All your photos and associated data are permanently deleted from our servers upon completion of your in-app or verified email request. This deletion is complete and irreversible.

Q: Are my photos shared with anyone?

Never for advertising. Your photos are stored securely on our encrypted servers and only you have access to them through your authenticated account. Where an AI provider processes a photo to generate your outfits, our agreements prohibit them from keeping, training on, or selling your data.

Q: How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Tap the account icon in the top-right corner of the home screen and choose Manage Subscription. You will be taken to Apple's subscription management page where you can cancel or change your plan.
